The fishing continues to be outstanding this season. The king salmon have really shown up in great numbers with guests catching plenty of fish on both fly and conventional tackle. The Nushagak river alone has seen close to 100,000 kings return this year and the Alagnak river has been very productive as well.

The Chums and Pinks are just starting to roll in and providing LOTS of action on our area rivers. Catches of 50 plus fish a day are not uncommon this time of year with many fish in the 10-12lb. class. We have also had some great days dry fly fishing for rainbows and a some larger fish caught using streamers and BIG leeches. Here are some photos taken by our guide staff and guests while fishing at ARL.

Grayling and Arctic Char contiune to provide anglers with plenty of action on the fly rod. The coastal fishieries are in great shape and look to get even better as the season progresses for our anglers targeting the Cohos or Silver Salmon. I look forward to seeing all of our return guests and meeting some new ones in the coming weeks.
