Our location is a remote wilderness setting. The lodge is only accessible by floatplane and is not situated in a town or village. No other area better represents Alaskas’ extraordinary fishing opportunities than the Bristol Bay Watershed.

WEATHER

There are many questions about weather. Here’s a table listing the averages for the King Salmon area during the summer: The temperatures listed are the averages in our area. We have had temperatures as high as 85° . Boat rides can be cold, even on the warmest days. Rain can blow up in a very short time span. The motto is be prepared. When dressing, always layer your clothing, so you can peel down if it’s too hot, or add if you’re cold.
